Pot Stickers

The Out of Town Cook

Ingredients:

½ lb. Ground Chicken/ Turkey or Beef

1 Egg, beaten

2 teaspoons finely minced Ginger

2 teaspoons Tamari Sauce

1 tablespoon Corn Starch

6 tablespoons Panko Crumbs / GF Panko Crumbs

3 tablespoons Scallions, finely chopped

Wonton Wrappers

Sesame Oil

Grape seed or Vegetable Oil for frying

 For Dipping Sauce:

½ cup Tamari Sauce

2 tablespoons Rice Wine Vinegar

2 teaspoons Honey

2 Scallions finely minced

1 teaspoon Sriracha Sauce

1 to 2 teaspoons Sesame seeds

Directions:

Mix the ground meat, Egg, minced Ginger, Tamari Sauce, Corn Starch, Panko Crumbs and Scallions well.  When thoroughly combined place a 1/2 tablespoon of filling into the center of each wonton wrapper and seal edges with a little water   Place dumplings into a steamer and steam until meat is cooked through.  Remove from steamer and pan fry in a little oil until crispy and slightly browned

Mix dipping sauce ingredients.
